::: List it Tuesday :::
I finally got my list made in time. Is it cheating to have written it the night before?
This list reminds me of two things:
1. I am not the least bit hip. These authors are way too prominent for that. But I really do love them all.
2. My reading habits have severely deteriorated. I used to have my nose in a book every free second, now I never seem to have a free second. Must change that.
Which lead to this conclusiong: I must find some new favorite authors (to add to the list, these ones will never leave).
Suggestions?

totally not cheating to do this the night before! the only goal is to handwrite a list - doesn't matter when you do it! i agree, reading becomes one of those things that you have to consciously make time to do, when it really should just be second nature to pick up a book in those spare moments! great list!
Interesting List. Some of these never get old, like Sherlock, for example. Have you read the Tuesday next series from Jasper Fforde? Lots of fun for a book/word lover.
great list. and writing the night before is not cheating!
i am totally with you on the no time to read dilemma. as an always behind grad student, i can attest to the fact that reading takes time, of which i have very little.
Thanks Aimee!
Karen - thanks for the Jasper Fforde suggestion, I will look him up!
S.E.Minegar - isn't it ironic that while in school reading is something that gets dropped? I noticed that in college as well, that's when my reading habits dropped. Definitely seems like it should be the other way around!
an excellent list. i have no time to read a book either anymore. favorite thing to do dropped for parenting and blog reading in under 5min increments.
